Jump ahead, back, or to the end

Send people to any page or question, back to an earlier one, or straight to an ending.

1 min readUpdated

A Jump to rule moves people when its conditions match. Pick its target in the rule: a question, the start of a page, or, under Finish now, the thank-you screen or one of your endings.

Ahead

A jump ahead skips everything between. Questions it skips are never required.

Back

A jump back sends people round again from the page holding the rule's last question, so they can change that answer: “Not sure? Go back to the brief.” If the answer stays the same, they go round at most five times, and then the form moves on. The logic map warns about a jump back nobody could get out of.

Finish now

A jump to an ending sends the form there and then, once the page with the rule's question is done. Finishing on the usual thank-you screen is on every plan; on one of several endings, on Pro.

Back button

Back retraces the pages people actually saw, jumps included.
