Version history

Every publish is a snapshot you can read and restore.

1 min readUpdated

Each time you publish, Formkit takes a snapshot of the questions as they were. Open Version history from the form actions menu to see them, newest first, with the date and who published.

Restoring

Restoring a version puts those questions back on the canvas. Your current questions are snapshotted first, so restoring is itself undoable. Restoring does not publish, so you will see the amber "unpublished changes" note until you do.

Unpublished changes

The builder counts edits made since the live version. The publish modal shows that count so you always know whether respondents are seeing your latest work.

How far back

Free keeps the last 30 days of published versions, Pro a year, and Business all of them. Older versions are still stored. Upgrade and they come back into the list.
