Each new response can post a message in a Discord channel. Discord gives you an address for that channel, called a webhook, and you paste it into Formkit. You need permission to manage webhooks on the server; if you do not have it, ask a server admin.
Make the address in Discord
- Hover over the channel in the channel list and choose the gear to edit it.
- Open Integrations, then Webhooks, and choose New Webhook.
- Choose the new webhook to open it. Name it Formkit, and check it posts in the right channel.
- Choose Copy Webhook URL. It starts https://discord.com/api/webhooks/.
Connect it in Formkit
In a form's Settings → Connections, choose Discord. Paste the address, give it a name you will recognise, like #signups, and choose Connect. Then choose Send a test: a message should appear in the channel within a few seconds.
If nothing arrives
- The address must start https://discord.com/api/webhooks/. A link to the channel will not work.
- If the webhook was deleted in Discord, make a new one and connect again.
- Under the connection, recent deliveries show what Discord answered, and Send again resends one.
