What it does
The launcher shows a hint for the page you are on, like “Ask about these responses” or “Ask or change a setting”. Select it and a small chat opens; Escape closes it. It reads the page, including what is on screen, and answers about that.
It can only do what the page itself offers. Views, filters, exports and moving between pages happen at once. Anything that changes your data waits for you to press Confirm.

Describe a form and it drafts matrix, ranking and NPS questions, hidden fields, statements, pictures and videos, logic that jumps ahead or to one of several endings, scoring and quizzes. Anything your company's plan doesn't include is left out of the draft.
Write in your own language and it answers in it. It remembers the last 20 messages, can quote plan prices and credit packs, and can answer a question across up to 10 of your forms from their counts and samples, with nothing personal read.
Switch on Settings → AI → Let people ask Formkit AI and a button appears on the live form. People can ask what a question means or what happens after they send it. It answers from the form's own words, never answers the questions for them, and points them to you for anything else. It is off until you switch it on.

What does it cost?
Plain chat is free, and so is reading the page you have open. An action it proposes uses an AI edit, and so does a question across your forms. Building a form uses an AI build.
Can it change things without asking?
No. Views, filters, exports and moving between pages happen at once, but anything that changes your data waits for you to press Confirm.
What does it send to Google?
Formkit AI uses Google's Gemini models. It sends your prompt, the form and what is on the page you have open, which can include respondents' names, email addresses, phone numbers and answers.
Is it on the free plan?
Yes, with the Free plan's AI allowance. Letting people ask it questions on your live forms is part of Pro, and off by default.
